Elementary After School Programs
The goals of the 2022-23 Civic League Extended Day Programs are to increase student engagement through implementing student-led activities and a hands-on, inquiry-based STEAM Curriculum that incorporate the New Jersey Student Learning Standards. The mission of the Programs is to cultivate a climate that is safe and conducive to positive behavior and provide all participants with quality academic support in needed areas. The League continues its purpose to foster civic engagement and empower individuals in the community of New Brunswick.
Programs focus on homework assignments and academic achievement during the first half of the three hour period; students engage in enrichment clubs and activities for the remainder of the Program day.
